Subvention funding

Glasgow Events manages event subvention funding on behalf of Glasgow City Council. We encourage event organisers to connect with us if you believe your event can:

attract national and international attendees
generate a strong media profile that will promote the city’s image on a global scale
create a social impact for Glasgow's people and communities.

Can you provide accurate information about the number of event attendees and unique visitors, and the location they are coming from?

Can you demonstrate that your event will generate significant economic impact for the city?

Can you demonstrate how your event will benefit communities and provide a positive social impact to the city?

Can you demonstrate how your event will create significant media profile for the city?

Do you have a robust financial model for the event and confirmation of the financial underwriting of the event?

Do you have a proven track record of delivering large scale events?

Is your event date scheduled for more than 6 months from now?
